Louie is a 12-week-old kitten in our program who has been diagnosed with deadly FIP, which causes fluid to fill up his lungs. Without a trial medication that is very expensive, there is no cure.
Many cats have been saved by this medicine, but the cost is tremendous for a small rescue like us. We want to do everything we can for Louie and appreciate any help!
Smitten with the Kittens is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue (EIN #85-2185924) whose mission is to:

As an all volunteer non-profit organization kitten rescue, our volunteers are the core and the heart of our rescue!
We currently need help in the following areas:
ALL of our cats and kittens are kept in loving foster homes until they are ready for pet adoption. SMTK pays for all medical costs while in foster and homes are always needed!
As our kitten rescue funding comes solely from donations, sponsorships, and pet adoption fees (that don't cover the full costs), any donation would be greatly appreciated and in most cases is tax-deductible (verify with a tax professional). Our non-profit EIN number is: 85-2185924
If you are ready to adopt, please fill out this adoption application and check out our kittens for adoption. If you know what cat/kitten you are interested in, please indicate that in the app. If unsure, please note that, you can get pre-approved for your pet adoption.

As we do not have a facility, and are an all volunteer kitten rescue organization, all our available animals are in loving foster homes. Please contact us to make arrangements to meet and greet our kittens for adoption.
We require an approved adoption application, adoption contract and pet adoption fee of $200 for kittens under 1 year, $150 for cats over 1 year. All felines have been altered, microchipped, and are up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption.
