Enjoy an afternoon of community at our Meow Mixer Fundraiser—featuring a silent auction, live music, raffles, games, jewelry sales, snacks, plus food for purchase (this allows us to lower our ticket price this year), all in support of saving vulnerable kittens!

Malibu - Female special needs kitten
Miracle Malibu was found abandoned in a Lake Forest backyard. Once in her foster home, she was found not have any back paws. Despite her challenges, she is a happy kitten and navigating her unique circumstances with our assistance.
Our upcoming Meow Mixer Fundraiser allows us to help Malibu and other special needs kittens, as well as abandoned cats, underage kittens and more!

Volunteer your time
As an all volunteer non-profit organization kitten rescue, our volunteers are the core and the heart of our rescue!
We currently need help in the following areas:
- Pet Adoption Event volunteers helping kittens get adopted
- Cat Care inside the Lake Forest PetSmart
- Feline transporters to vet appts, foster homes, adoption events etc.
- Fundraising
- Administrative Work
Foster
ALL of our cats and kittens are kept in loving foster homes until they are ready for pet adoption. SMTK pays for all medical costs and supplies while in foster and homes are always needed!
